Top Ten Tuesday – Week 29

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the bloggers over at The Broke and the Bookish. I KNOW it's Wednesday, but I really wanted to do this week's list...even though I don't really even have ten :P. Today's top ten is:

Top Ten Books That Broke My Heart (a Little)

1. Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma. I think anyone who's read this book would have found it heartbreaking, no matter what the actual topic of the story is based around.

2. Goodnight Mister Tom by Michelle Magorian. I read this book for one of my classes in grade 7 and I felt pretty torn up at the end :/.

3. The Sweet Far Thing by Gemma Doyle. All I'm gonna say is this: WHY?!?!?!

4. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. Even though this was the least favorite of mine in the trilogy (planning to re-read it again soon so I can see if I was too quick to judge :P) but I gotta admit, the ending to this one, was heartbreaking :(.

5. Ordinary Beauty by Laura Wiess. I was cringing by the end of the book. I had to know what had happened, and so I read through one night, the WHOLE book, only to feel terribly sad.

6. Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. Poor girl, those horrible reasons. Fabulous book though.

7. Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. I don't know why I just thought of this book right now. Loved the book and the movie was really good as well– both really sad and pretty shocking.

I can only think of seven. It's too depressing to go on! (kidding)

What's your top ten?
