Ahh... seems like 2013 was just a couple days ago (ha ha, corny joke)! Anyway, here's to looking back at what happened on Confessions of a Readaholic last year:
I posted a total of 119 posts. Not my best, I was certainly hoping for more, but then again, Grade 11 and 12 are so demanding that there just wasn't enough time. Hopefully this year things will look up!
The first post of 2013 was the Books That Glow event. Ahh yes. Richa @ City of Books and I were completely swamped with this and because we couldn't possibly finish everything, we've decided to bring it to 2014, looking back at some of the amazing books in 2013.
My last post of 2013 was a Top Ten Tuesday post on the top 10 books I read in 2013. A perfect end methinks :)
The first review I posted in 2013 was The Fire Horse Girl by Kay Honeyman and the last review I posted was for Warrior by Ellen Oh.
My most viewed post from 2013 was The Sweet Dead Life Blog Tour Guest Post.
I didn't get to finish my 2013 book challenge unfortunately which went down increasingly throughout the year. I managed to read 68 books in total, and the first book I read in 2013 was Dash & Lily's Book of Dares (review here) and the last was Fugitive X (review coming soon!).
Anyway, this year I've set it to 75 books, so HOPEFULLY, I'll be able to get into it :)
TV-wise, there's been a gajillion shows I watched in 2013, and here's what I'll be continuing to watch this year:
Revenge
Once Upon a Time
How I Met Your Mother
Mom
The Goldbergs
New Girl
Pretty Little Liars
Ravenswood
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
New Girl
Trophy Wife
Modern Family
Super Fun Night
Reign
Suburgatory
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
The Crazy Ones
The Millers
Sean Saves the World
There's still quite a lot of TV shows I want to start, so 2014 is going to be BUSY. Oh, and I'm not going to forget Sherlock. It's absolutely amazing, but there are so few episodes and there's such a HUGE break between each series that I really want to space it out. The episodes are like how Gollum and the Ring's relationship is. I'm like on the second episode of the first series (I'm not kidding) but that's because I DON'T WANT TO GO THROUGH THEM LIKE A MANIAC. It's crazy because everyone's going on and on about the new series and I'm like... "no I'll wait". Kind of stupid of me, but oh well, I'm holding out! I'm pretty sure though after exams, all the episodes will be devoured in a heartbeat. Anyway, looking forward to this year in TV, and of course, BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH :D
Well, that seems to be about it–

Here's to an amazing 2014 guys!
Revenge, HIMYM and New Girl are on my list of shows to continue as well. A couple of my friends watch Reign and they say it's really good. I really want to start it but I'll have to see. I was planning to start it around the holiday season but that went out the window haha. I used to love PLL and OUAT so much but I stopped watching them. Maybe I should jump back onto the bandwagon. :P
