In Every Day, New York Times bestselling author David Levithan presented readers with his most ambitious novel to date: Every morning, A wakes up in a different body and leads a different life. A must never get too attached, must never be noticed, must never interfere.

The novel Every Day starts on Day 5994 of A’s life. In this digital-only collection Six Earlier Days, Levithan gives readers a glimpse at a handful of the other 5993 stories yet to be told that inform how A navigates the complexities of a life lived anew each day.

In Every Day, readers discover if you can truly love someone who is destined to change every day. In Six Earlier Days, readers will discover a little bit more about how A became that someone.

I decided to review this one before I reviewed Every Day, because of chronological order. After finishing Every Day, which I loved immensely, I delved into this extra short-story featured at the back of the book. I don’t think it matters whether you read it before or after Every Day, but reading it after, after learning so much about A’s day-to-day life, it’s an interesting glimpse into A's life before meeting Rhiannon.

The process is repetitive yet different day-to-day. This short collection travels through various stages of A’s life, from age ten to seven to sixteen. It’s absolutely beautiful and saddening to see the different lifestyles these children lead, with parents who love them and parents who are strict, to birthdays to just normal days. The last chapter of this collection was definitely the best, and I loved seeing the struggle that A is put through, particularly when it comes to the people who love the person A has inhabited.

This, being a novella, was a super short read, and I loved it, because after the gorgeousness that was Every Day, this was a much needed extra. Reading this made me feel even sadder than I did after reading Every Day, just because of how ephemeral A’s experiences seem to be. I can’t wait to dig into Another Day!

A Midsummer's Nightmare? Robin Goodfellow. Puck. Summer Court prankster, King Oberon's right hand, bane of many a faery queen's existence—and secret friend to Prince Ash of the Winter Court. Until one girl's death came between them, and another girl stole both their hearts.

Now Ash has granted one favor too many and someone's come to collect, forcing the prince to a place he cannot go without Puck's help—into the heart of the Summer Court. And Puck faces the ultimate choice—betray Ash and possibly win the girl they both love, or help his former friend turned bitter enemy pull off a deception that no true faery prankster could possibly resist.

An ebook exclusive novella from Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series.

If you know me, you'll know how much I love Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series. This novella was definitely no exception! I haven't read many novellas so far, but these ones have definitely grabbed my attention and are SO worth the read.
I loved the change in perspective here! I understand that Meghan's story is over (...or is it? you'll just have to see in The Iron Knight *winks*) and so it was fabulous to see another narrator take on the role. I loved the change in atmosphere and mood I must say. Puck was hilarious narrator, and we got to see a different side to him in this short story.

Once again, I must compliment the gorgeous descriptions of the summer court! It sounds so beautiful...and somewhat terrifying as well. I liked all the allusions as well to A Midsummer's Night Dream, and the twist at the end is fabulously played out.

Do NOT hesitate to pick this one up if you love The Iron Fey series as much as I do! It leads up to the Iron Knight (which is as amazing) and this second-last (mini) installment to this amazing series will entice you as all of its books do.

This is a novella from The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa and it actually takes place during the beginning pages of The Iron Daughter. The ending passage is the same in both books, which indicates when this short journey took place.
It was short, and easy. I realised that I hadn't read the novella in between, so I quickly put The Iron Daughter on hold and took 20 minutes or even less, to read this AMAZING short story.

It was from this novella actually, that I'd leaned a bit more towards the Team Ash side. I was more Team Puck (although it was a hard decision) in The Iron King, I quickly fell for the Ice Prince. Gods, this was intense.

Really would recommend reading this story if you're a big fan of this series and are looking for more of the juicy details of Meghan and Ash's journey to visit an injured Puck.
