Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's top ten...is a FREEBIE! So it can be absolutely whatever I want. So without further ado...I'm picking the top ten to be: Top Ten Paranormal Books. (This is not in any particular order)
1. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. DEFINITELY one of the best paranormals I have EVER read. This on mixes in different creatures and introduces the world of Shadow hunters. Love, love, LOVE this series (I need to read City of Fallen Angels...it's still on my shelf :P) and can't wait for the movie!
2. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I know, I know, but now that I think about it, I wouldn't have really ever possibly read anything paranormal if it wasn't for this book. It introduced me the world of vamps and werewolves and from then on, I've never turned back.
3. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. OK, after Twilight, I really love werewolves (yes, I'm kinda a Team Jacob person) but THIS changes everything. Best. Werewolf. Book. EVER. And I mean it! It doesn't come of as cheesy, it's a darker and edgier and more romantic. Can't wait to get my hands on Forever!
4. Fallen by Lauren Kate. 2nd book on Fallen Angels which I've read, and I gotta say. It's a good competition for Hush, Hush. I can't decide which one's better! But probably maybe this one a bit, because I've read the books in the series which have been released so far, but I need to read Crescendo, the sequel to Hush, Hush, which is still on my shelf. Can't wait for the third book to come out though. Have you seen the cover? It's gorgeous!
5. The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. This has been mentioned in an earlier post this week, this is one of my most favorite series' ever. The writing is so beautiful and entrancing...you really feel as if you're in the seelie court! I've read the first two books, need to get my hands on The Iron Queen and I have The Iron Knight for review :D.
6. White Cat by Holly Black. You don't find many books with a male POV, and this paranormal, I have to say, would be the best in all of them. Holly Black has introduced a completely new, erm, "species" to the paranormal world with Curse Workers. It's very original, and very dark. Loved it! I also found this better than her faerie series. I dunno why, but just loved this one.
7. Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. As mentioned before, one of the best Fallen Angel books ever written. I still need to read Crescendo though. It's calling to me from the book shelf!
8. Wings by Aprilynne Pike. Another BRILLIANT Faerie book. I re-read the first Wings, because I'd just bought Spells and I'd read Wings a while back, and totally forgot how amazing it is! I immediately started on Spells after because I needed to know what happens! Can't wait to get my hands on Illusions!
9. The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting. I was attracted to this book because of it's cover. It's so gorgeous! But you know what's even better? The story inside of it. This one's also pretty dark and suspenseful and I find no flaw with this one. Love this, and totally can't wait for The Last Echo :).
10. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White. I only read this one recently, and it is one of the most funniest, engrossing and mixed up paranormal I've ever read. I love how there's a mix of creatures in this series, kinda like The Mortal Instruments. AND I totally heart the cover <3.
That's it for my list of amazing paranormal books, what are your faves?

I LOVE White Cat. Everything you said about it is true and then some. ;) I wasn't blown away by Black's fairy series either so I almost didn't give this one a chance. I'm soooo glad I did, now.
