Top Ten Tuesday - Week 19

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Today's top ten list is: Top Ten Books I feel as though EVERYONE has read but Me. Fantastic list idea, especially for those books in the past year which have been getting TONS of buzz.

1. Wither by Lauren DeStefano.

Okay, this one was released THIS year...and it's been talked about for ages. No, correction. It's STILL being talked about. Am I the only one who can't manage to get my hands on this one?? I blame Singapore bookstores. I just can't seem to find it. I need to know why everyone's buzzing about this book!

2. Divergent by Veronica Roth.

Find me someone who hasn't read this book. Please. I'm dying to know the only other person who hasn't read this book yet. I've probably read of or seen the book title/cover at least 5 times a day. No joke! Need this one...and then I'll join the rest of you all.

3. Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton.

Again, same with the above books. WHY?!?!

4. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead.

Okay, to my defense, I DO have this book on my shelf... I just haven't started it. Looks really good, but I just haven't picked it up. VA fans and readers: Is this like another "House of Night" or "Evernight" series or something completely different?

5. Forgive My Fins by Tera Lynn Childs.

I LOVED Oh. My. Gods. and so I really want to read this one! Sounds amazing...and her latest book, Sweet Venom looks really cool as well! Great mythology books, if you haven't read hers yet! But NEED this one. People keep on talking about it... no fair.

6. Abandon by Meg Cabot.

Yes, ME. The one who owns nearly 30 Meg Cabot books and have (nearly) read all of her books (including the adult ones). Just tell me one thing: WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?? Hopefully, the library's bringing it in soon so I'll be able to get my Meg Cabot-one-book-less hands on it :)

7. Halo by Alexandra Adornetto.

Fallen Angels + me = HELLS YES.

8. Unearthly by Cynthia Hand.

Same with all of the other books above. I need to read this, because otherwise (a) I will possibly have nutritional and sleep deprivation from not reading this or (b) Be shot down by the book gods for not reading this or (c) all of the above.

9. The Lying Game by Sara Shepard.

I have problems. Want this. NEED this. I ADORE Pretty Little Liars, and can't believe I haven't picked this one up yet. And even more, I want to watch the new tv series, and I can't even do that, 'cause I'm like, "I want to read the series first" WELL NO DUH.

10. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin.

This hasn't even come out yet and people are talking about it like CRAZY! Gahhh...this is driving me nuts.

Okay, so here's my top ten. If you want to "donate" a copy of one of the above to me, please feel more than free to do so and put me out of my misery :/ because if you do, I will:

a) Post the review and probably like thank you a bajillion times in it.
b) Feature you on my blog for a WHOLE WEEK. That's right people. Your reviews on my blog + Interview with you :D
c) Hmmm...maybe (and try as hard as I can for my 15-year old self) to do a review of a book YOU recommend.
d)....trying to think of something else really amazing which me, with my practically NO money allowance can do for you...and on the blog.

Hey, this doesn't sound like half a bad idea. It will work for any book in fact :P LOL look at my wishlist (click on the R.A.K. button on the sidebar ---------------->) or on the top of the page. OR send me a book you think I should read, even better! LOL basically I'm bribing you into sending me books  -_-. I'm evil...but then again, I'm me :P

  1. Scratch the other nine books off your list and put Divergent on top!

"Come join our Faction, we have cookies..."

You HAVE to meet Four! Like, now! I stayed up all night reading that book and when I woke up, one of my first thoughts was that I HAD to continue reading that book. I think those pages were what I had for lunch, because I definitely didn't wake up in the morning!

  3. I adore whatever book I have read of Meg Cabot's and really need to read her more recent books too including Abandon. I highly recommend Unearthly as it was a great angel book.

  8. I absolutely hated House of Night, but I love the VA series! It's out of this world, really. One of my all time favourites!
