Top Ten Tuesday - Week 15

"Top Ten Tuesday" is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's their blogiversary (CONGRATS!) and so this top ten list today is: Top Ten Reasons Why I Love Book Blogging!

1. Recommending Books to Y'all! This is the biggest reason which I enjoy book blogging so much. I'm BIG on recommending, and I'm always the person my friends ask when they need a recommendation. Love book blogging 'cause it captures the attention of different book lovers and recommends books to people worldwide. AND not only that, but MY TBR has also doubled tripled by the amount of books I find everyday.

2. Getting to know Authors, Libraries and of course, other Book Bloggers! Ever since I've started book blogging, I've been in contact with several bloggers, authors and people who work in the most amazing world– Books! I don't think I could have ever done that without my book blog.

3. Learning about new and upcoming titles. I would have honestly never known so many awesome books coming up (and this also contributes to my huge TBR pile -_-) but I would have had no idea about some of the most fabulous titles without book blogging.

4. ARCs. I would have NEVER known what an ARC is, without my book blog. At all. I'm glad for book blogging, 'cause it's gotten me into reviewing the most amazing novels by the most amazing people!

5. Debut Authors. I would have honestly never come across so many amazing debuts this year unless they were like über popular! I'm so glad to have reviewed and gotten to know a few debuts, and seriously think that Class of 2k11 and the Elevensies are one of the most fab sites for debuts.

6. Exploring the "context" of books. I don't mean like finding symbolism and all that stuff– that's for school! But more like finding what I really do enjoy in books, what could've been done better, which characters appeal to me more etc. Really makes me think when writing reviews.

7. Memes. There are so many countless memes I could think of right now, which has made blogging pretty purposeful! Top Ten Tuesday (of course!), Waiting on Wednesday, WWW Wednesdays, Friday Finds and In My Mailbox are the ones I currently take part in. These give me goals for the week of which I need to blog!

8. Talking to other book lovers. My friends and family often get tired of me raving on and on about the fab books I read. Glad that my blog can be an outlet that lets me rave about how fantastically awesome a book is!

9. I get how people feel about books. and I will totally prove my point with the video below. This, is officially the soundtrack to my life...which I found on Allure of Books (see what I mean about the understanding of other people)?

10. Layout and Designing. I would have never really been able to find amazing backgrounds, layouts and stuff if I'd never blogged. Designing, HTML, Coding, cool stuff on your blog all builds up your skills and I've certainly learned LOADS from having a blog!

That's My TTT This week! Hope you enjoyed the video and head over to Allure of Books' TTT as well! What's your top ten? Be sure to leave a comment/link!
